Sekeenat Karim is a multi-skilled producer working in the arts and cultural industry. Her work spans across theatre, visual arts, film, events, and festival curation.
Her producing credits include an array of impactful digital projects, exhibitions, and festivals including the 2023 bi-annual ISPA congress. In 2022 she co-produced the film and podcast project motherEarth international supported by British Council’s Creative Commissions for Climate Action, a global programme exploring climate change through art, science and digital technology. She also previously worked with organisations such as Trafalgar Entertainment Group, Royal Exchange Theatre, and HOME MCR.
With a keen interest in storytelling through various creative mediums, Sekeenat works passionately and creatively with artists and organisations to curate and support the delivery of projects. She is inspired by championing diverse stories and voices; deeply values the importance of community engagement and ownership of creative work and spaces; and works to create spaces that embrace change and challenge perspectives.
